A Maybe Lucky Event
I had finished with the domestic work and I had a few hours free time, so I had decided to visit my neighbor to have a chat and to gossip for a while. We were sitting on the table in the kitchen drinking a fine brandy, but I had got thirsty and I had asked her for a glass of water. She stood her chair and she made a few steps when the metal kitchen wall art that was hanged just above her head detached from the wall and had fell down. She was lucky because it was heavy and it should have hit her right on her head. The art piece was not supposed to fell down but it was good it had not happened while my friend was sitting on her chair.

Media Need to Serve Their Purpose

I can hear the radio now. There is a heavy fog in the down anyone driving a car… stop there! Why saying a fog when there is smog falling in my town. Is this seem right to you? Why an important media as the radio should twist the things in this way. Isn’t the purpose of mass media to inform people? I know it is smog not a fog. I can see I can smell it no fog smell like this. I remember what fog is from my childhood. For more than twenty years we have replaced the fog with smog. Radio must tell the truth to the people. Things should be named with their true names, else they misinform instead of informing us. It is a twisted purpose to misinform people. This seems not right to me.

Everything Is So Fragile Now
I was hanging my coat on the metal decor hangings in the foyer and the hanging broke. It was from metal but not strong enough to support the heavy winter coat. The coat was really heavy because it was soaked by the snow melted upon it but hangings are made for one purpose only – to hang your clothe on them. If they can not perform their purpose during winter they should sell them not as “hangings” but as summer hangings”. I had bought those a week ago. I had no idea they can be so fragile. Ten years ago I would have bought from the store hangings which I can hang my car upon. Everything new is feeble and lasts just a few days.

The Lychee -Tasty Exotic Fruit

I prefer eating vegetables instead of fruits. I am not against fruits but I simply find their taste not as good as the vegetables. Usually when we pass by the fruits section in the store it is my wife that buys anything from there. Last time I was shopping from a list that my wife gave to me and when I got to the fruits saw a very interesting fruit called Lychee. Out of curiosity I decided to buy two to taste it – one for me and one for my wife. I can to describe the taste exactly because it does not resemble to me anything I had tasted before. My wife had found the taste weird but for me it is very interesting. She even had not eaten her fruit, but I had eaten it instead of her. Once again I had realized we have a very different feeling about what is tasty me and my wife.

Should I Buy It or Not
I was on my usual Christmas shopping spree yesterday. I had spent tons of money in a single day only and I was way beyond my budget as always during this time of year. I saw a metal bikes wall art that would suit my son’s room wall. He already has a lot of gifts but I was tempted to buy this one too. I don’t why maybe it was the money I had spent too much but something stopped me from buying it although I think it is nice. If I give it now to my son together with all the other presents he might not appreciate it. Maybe I should buy it tomorrow but keep it and give it to him later on some occasion. But still I am not totally convinced I should buy this wall art.

What I Don’t Like in Windows 7

I had migrated to Windows 7 from XP since 5 months. Before that I made an attempt to be on Vista but I say attempt because it lasted only a week and I had decided to go back to XP. Vista is good system but for me it is not better than the XP. Since I have 5 months experience now I can say what annoys me in the new 7. At first it was a little awkward to me to operate but in time I get used and now I can say it is a relatively easy to use operating system and for sure is better than XP. Still there is one thing that annoys me. When I copy I am always asked what to do to several times while copying many directories and many files. I tried to find an option Windows never to ask me but I have not found it. I am sure there is a way to fix this but I can not find it easy – this is one of the irritating features of this almost perfect Windows version.
