I Want to Go to Tibet

What is like to live in Tibet? I know they drink a lot of tea there and they are committed to non violence. They have many temples and they serve religious ceremonies all day. I have red a lot about Tibet but I know reading is not as experiencing the things. I think it is very spiritual to live in such a place. I wish I go someday there to touch the serenity of this land. I think I need to taste some of the peace and non aggressiveness that dwells there. I also want to understand how in the world such place can exist. It would be very interesting to go visiting Tibet.

Why Dogs Bark at People

I have a German Shepherd dog that is 3 years old. Since I have a dog I am interested in dogs and sometimes I find it interesting to understand them better. For instance why they bark at all? My dog is well mannered and it is trained not to bark at people. But anyway if dogs are not trained they bark at them. My dog barks when it notices danger or when he sees something that he strongly dislikes. For instance when he was young I punished him once hitting him with the turtles metal wall decor in our living room because it was at my reach at the moment. He memorized that and now when he sees other wall decor he wants to bark at it (I trained him not to, it took me a lot of efforts). But he is not barking turtles or other metal objects. So why dogs bark at people? I think they do that because not long time ago people were the major thread to each other. I think this is genetically imprinted in dog’s minds and this surely is an evidence for our violent past.

Michael Schumacher Is not the Greatest Champion

I am fan of Formula 1 racing. I think American teams must participate there too. I think we can show our best there. They are things I do not like in the F1 though. For instance I don’t like Michael Schumacher acting on the track. I can not ignore the fact that he is seven times world champion in F1, but I do not like the way he does this. He is racing to win at any cost. He is even ready to risk other player safety if this serves him somehow. He is arrogant and not sportsman. Even after he gained his titles his behavior did not changed. If you are the best there is no need to do everything no matter the cost. I don’t think such people are great persons. He is gifted for sure but he is not great man. That’s why I can not call him the Greatest Champion in F1. I wish an American pilot to win the price someday.

Don’t Make Repairs When Your Wife Is Around

I made a repair to our guest room all by myself. My wife was nagging me that this is an important room and so on and finally I decided to make the repairs. So I painted the walls and changed the ceiling (of course my wife picked the colors). I also scraped the parquet flooring and I put lacquer after. I also had changed the carpet on the floor with new one. My wife decided to change one of the walls to have a decorative wall art in unison with the new carpet. She hired a professional to make it and to choose a proper angle of lighting. Here is where my problems started. The designer wanted to have new cable ducts for the lights and all my efforts with painting the walls were poured down the drain. He also put the idea to my wife to have floor heating in the room. At the end all my work was utterly destroyed in the name of the new reformations. Even we had made the perfect room I will never again start doing any repairs with my wife around.

Eggs from Free Grown Chickens

I don’t like to eat eggs. There is something in the taste that makes them not so tasty to me. But eggs are overpraised by so many dieticians. I don’t like the eggs but they are constantly showing as good source of proteins and other valuable ingredients so I decided to include few of them in my weekly diet. I bought the most expensive chicken eggs in the store. They were from free grown chickens. I must admit that they had a different taste. Still I do not like it but it is something that I can endure in the name of the healthy diet. My friends are telling me that I fancy this different taste but I really sense it.

I plan to open a small family business hotel and it is almost done. I think people will always need hotels. There will be always a place for good hotels and I intend mine to be such. My wife helped me a lot with the choices that I had to make for furniture and decoration. I must say she did a perfect job to make good appearance from inside. She made me spend a lot of money, more than I intended, but I think it was worth it. She convinced me that if I spend few thousand for good looking view from outside, for instance if I put outdoor metal wall decor this way we will save money from advertising later. She also reminded me that if you start doing something you must pay attention to all the details and do the things once and for all. Metal decoration from outside is doing so. I must confess that buying metal decorations for the fence and walls from outside seemed to me not quite necessary. But she showed to me the benefit of such decorations. I think my wife deserves to call her the head of the Hotel and I am simply the guy with the money.
